Silent Cycle

In a modest Indian household, 12-year-old Vrinda gets her first period during a Navratri puja, facing the stigma of menstruation and outdated traditions. Her grandmother Lata insists on using unsanitary cloth rags, while her mother Aruna offers conflicted support. With help from her younger brother Jai, Vrinda discovers sanitary pads, sparking a clash with Lata over modern versus traditional practices. As tensions rise, the family finds unity during the Dussehra festival, symbolically burning the effigy of Ravana and taking a small step toward breaking free from regressive traditions.
