Illegal Chinese immigrant Lin Aiyu lives in Paris and has a dark secret she hides from her daughter. A stranger named Daniel forces his way into their apartment to hide from the men he owes money to. Sometime prisoner and dictator, a power struggle between Lin and Daniel ensues.
