“Citizen Clark… A Life of Principle” is a 95-minute feature documentary on the life of former U.S. Attorney General and Human Rights activist Ramsey Clark. It spans a period from 1927 to the present in thirty-five different segments. Areas covered in this film include Clark’s service in the Marine Corps during World War II, his work in the Lands Division of the U.S. Justice Department, John F. Kennedy, Bobby Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Jr., LBJ, Civil Rights, The 1965 Selma to Montgomery March, J. Edgar Hoover, the turbulent 60’s, The Boston Five, his tenure as Attorney General from 1967-69, the wars in Vietnam, Panama, Bosnia, Iraq, The Palestinian Struggle, his family, his commitment to exposing numerous U.S. interventions throughout the world, the influence of special interests on governance and the impact youth are having in wake of the Parkland, Florida shooting. The documentary addresses the need to embrace the principles of “engaged citizenship” by participating in activism as a means of improving the human condition in the U.S. and throughout the world.
